The best of of the best from the health and physical education profession will again unite this summer for Move, Thrive! The #MoveThrive24 conference features 17 SHAPE America District Teachers of the Year including 6 current or recent National Teachers of the Year! Current SHAPE America President Dr. Cara Grant will additionally be featured as the general session keynote and session presenter. All this plus many more state Teachers of the Year and nationally recognized presenters and experts from over 30 states, but did we mention only $150 for early bird registration before May 15th!

KY Schools Leading the Nation!

Five KYSHAPE schools are currently ranked in the top 10 in the nation for fundraising with health.moves.minds.! It is also reported that another Kentucky school will soon move to the top of the rankings and become the top fundraising school ever in the state! All Kentucky schools that hosted a fundraising event this school year will receive free #MoveThrive24 registration for the summer conference in addition to earning back funds for their school thanks to SHAPE America!

Congratulations to KYSHAPE Board Members!

KYSHAPE would like to congratulate two of our current board of director members Dr. Chen and Dr. Willis! Dr. Steve Chen (pictured left above) from Morehead State University was selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Outstanding Faculty – Commitment to Student Success Award. Dr. Chen serves as one of the co-editor for the KYSHAPE Journal. Dr. Lauren Willis (pictured on far right above) was selected for the Campbellsville University’s Faculty Servant Leader Award. Dr. Willis serves as the KYSHAPE Vice-President for General.
