The annual SHAPE America National Convention always concludes with the announcement of the National Teachers of the Year. KYSHAPE is proud to share and announce that two of our members were awarded the prestigious title of SHAPE America National Teacher of the Year! Casey Page is from Shelby County Schools and was named the High School Physical Education Teacher of the Year. Kara Young is with Jefferson County Public Schools and was named Health Teacher of the Year. Not only was this is the first time ever

Kentucky schools receive national recognition as top fundraising schools for health.moves.minds. at the SHAPE America National Convention Convention in Cleveland. Big congratulations to Juli Neace from Highlands Middle School in Fort Thomas Schools and Daniel Smith from Plana Elementary in Warren County Schools for being the #2 and #3 schools in the nation with fundraising!
