From National Teachers of the Year traveling from North Dakota, Minnesota, Maryland, and Wisconsin, to District Teachers of the Year joining us from as far away as Nevada, you’ll learn from some of the most respected educators in the profession. Add in Kentucky’s own nationally recognized leaders and presenters, and the result is one of the strongest professional development lineups you’ll find anywhere in the country. Not only do we offer one of the most robust agendas in health and physical education, but we do it at one of the lowest registration costs of any state association conference in the nation. This year’s conference theme, Teach with Intention. Lead with Impact., reflects the opportunity we all have to elevate our profession and better serve students as we prepare for the 2026-27 school year. And don’t forget—our conference begins on Wednesday, June 24, with two outstanding pre-conference opportunities designed to reach beyond traditional health and physical education audiences. 🏫 Leading with Impact: Healthy Schools That Thrive is designed for school and district leaders, administrators, Family Resource and Youth Services Center directors, school wellness teams, nutrition directors, counselors, and anyone committed to creating healthier school cultures. ♿ SHAPE America Effective Practices in Adapted Physical Education provides practical strategies and resources for physical educators while also supporting special education teachers and staff who serve students with disabilities. (A $75 per person fee is typically required for this workshop; however, KYSHAPE is subsidizing the cost in coordination with SHAPE America).
