Again this year’s convention offers 6 hours of PD credit. Workshops on Sunday and Monday that occur outside of the contracted work day so these times are eligible for annual PD credit.

Applications for nominees for the KY SHAPE Board are now being accepted. The final slate of nominees will be notified by the KY SHAPE Past President, the chair for the nominating committee. If your nomination is selected, you will be contacted to request a full bio and picture for the election process. Selected nominees will also be introduced at the opening General Session on Monday October 14th. Nominees from the floor will also be accepted in accordance with the KY SHAPE by-laws for the positions of President-Elect, At-Large West and At-Large East. Persons nominated from the floor must give written permission to be placed in the nomination and their eligibility must be checked before their names become part of the slate. The General Assembly shall elect officers by secret ballot. Voters (Article I Section 7) will have the opportunity to vote during a designated period of time after the first General Session and prior to the second General Session of the Fall Convention. Voting for 2019 will be done in the exhibit hall between 9:50 AM and 3:00 PM on Monday only.
Nominees must:
- Be a member of KY SHAPE for three years or more
- Assume the duties/responsibilities of the office
- 3-year commitment for President
- 2-year commitment for Vice-Presidents and Board Members-at-Large.
