Speaking of SHAPE Cleveland! Congratulations to Casey Page from Shelby County and Kara Young from Jefferson County for being the 2024 SHAPE America Southern District Teachers of the Year! Casey was named the High School Physical Education Teacher of the Year for Southern District and Kara was named the Health Education Teacher of the Year for Southern District. Both will now compete for the honor of the SHAPE America National Teacher of the Year in their respective categories and winners will be announced during the closing session of the Cleveland convention.
