#FitSupts Edventure Race
2020 Kentucky Superintendent of the Year Dr. Brian Creasman will be the opening keynote presenter for the KYSHAPE summer conference on Monday July 19th at 10:15 AM. Dr. Creasman’s platform as Superintendent of the Year focused on school health and wellness. In fact, he has been challenging superintendents across Kentucky and the United States to to model health, fitness, and well-being. In his blog for SHAPE America last June, Creasman stated “superintendents — have the opportunity and responsibility to educate students, teachers, staff, and other leaders!”.
Kentucky SHAPE is ready to help Kentucky schools do just that, with a chance to win wellness grants through participation in the #FitSupts Edventure Race. The Kentucky SHAPE 2021 Summer Conference will open to all attendees, but Kentucky schools that have their superintendent or assistant superintendent participating with them will have a chance to WIN BIG prizes for their school district!
The #FitsSupts Edventure Race brings strategy, technology and fun into a wellness promoting kickoff event for the KYSHAPE Summer Conference on July 19-20th. Teams of up to 5 working collaboratively to solve clues on the “FitSupts Edventure Passport” completing health.moves.minds related challenges at undisclosed locations in Downtown Louisville. You can walk or you can run, it could be a 3K event, it could be 5K event….the distance depends on your team accurately solving the passport clues!
All attendees of the KYSHAPE Move, Thrive Summer Conference are invited to participate. No additional registration is required other than for school district teams that plan to participate with their superintendent or assistant superintendent. Those teams need to complete the form below.

*** For Kentucky teams with a superintendent or assistant superintendent participating, successfully completing your team’s passport makes you eligible for district cash prizes for your school district and/or full scholarships for the 2022 SHAPE America National Convention in New Orleans.

Five $2,0000 SHAPE America National Convention Scholarships for 2022 in New Orleans!
You don’t have to be the fastest team, you just have to complete the #FitSupts passport with at least one district leader. Prizes will be awarded on Monday following the keynote of 2020 Superintendent of the Year Dr. Brian Creasman. The team must complete the Edventure Race on Sunday and also be present on Monday to be eligible for the prizes above!
