The Power of Human Connection!
Last year #MoveThrive2021 accomplished the impossible, we successfully held the nation’s first in-person health and physical conference since before the COVID19 pandemic began!
Two things we prioritized in last year’s experience was dedicated time for human connection! Because one we all need each other! And two, teaching is more challenging than it ever has been!
For these reasons you again will find on the conference agenda there are 15 minutes scheduled between each and every breakout session. We are all part of the bigger health and physical education family, and this time between sessions gives you a chance to connect face to face with presenters, attendees and sponsors/exhibitors. This time is planned and it is meant to be purposeful for you to enhance your connections and overall conference experience!
Second, did we mention that teaching is hard?! The KYSHAPE Board of Directors wants to say THANK YOU for being a teacher and serving the students in your community! We invite you to join us at the Opening Night Social on Monday June 26t at Greyline Station! Dinner will be served from Porterhouse BBQ and drinks available from Old North Bar. We also have a special “Friday Night Family” style welcome event planned again this year! Oh and yes of course we have games planned including ping pong, corn hole and more!
The fun and thank you continues on Monday night, make plans to join us at Blue Stallion Brewing for pizza and drinks along with more fun and social time!
